How it works

Real homework. One standard. A signed session every month.

Scoreo adds three things a school rarely has time for: an independent review of every assignment, a one-on-one counseling session for every student every month, and a record of what each student committed to fix.

The program

Four stages, repeated every month.

01

Upload

Teachers upload real homework as photos, PDFs, Word files or text, or the school sends a batch through a secure upload. No new assignments and no new software for students to learn.

02

Review

Every assignment is scored against one fixed standard: 21 checks across effort and integrity, mastery and presentation. Every assignment starts at 5.00. Every zero-tolerance finding is confirmed by a person before a student sees it.

03

Counsel

On the first school day of each month, every student gets a session built from their own work: their numbers, their marked-up homework, the standard, knowledge checks and written answers. Nothing closes until they sign.

04

Recognize

Students who complete their session hear from a hometown athlete or community figure and earn an entry in community giveaways. Each semester ends with a report card and, for schools that meet the bar, Honor School recognition.

The monthly session

Seven steps, in order, and nothing closes until it’s signed.

Each student signs in with a student ID and an access code. Steps unlock one at a time. Knowledge checks have to be answered correctly and every attempt is recorded. Written “what I should have done” answers are required. The student types their name to sign and gets a receipt code their teacher can verify.

The scorecard

Every assignment starts at 5.00.

Each problem deducts points from one of three areas. The areas are weighted the same way for every student in every school, so a score means the same thing everywhere.

Monthly levels

Every month gets a level from Clean to Critical.

Critical issues come first in the session and are treated very seriously: the student reviews each one on their own paper, writes what they should have done, and acknowledges that a repeat goes to the dean and home.

LEVEL 4
L4 · Critical

Any zero-tolerance violation in the month.

LEVEL 3
L3 · Serious

Three or more serious problems, or the same serious problem three months in a row.

LEVEL 2
L2 · Warning

At least one serious problem.

LEVEL 1
L1 · Minor

Only required standards missed.

LEVEL 0
Clean

Nothing flagged.

Scoreo letter grades come from the 5.00 homework score. 4.80 is the honor standard (A−).

A month at a glance

Fast turnaround, every month.

01

During the month

Teachers upload homework as it comes in, or the school sends batches through the secure upload. Each assignment is reviewed against the standard.

02

First school day

Every student’s session opens, built from last month’s homework. Critical and overdue sessions come first.

03

Within 10 school days

Students complete all seven steps and sign. Teachers watch progress, attempts and written answers as they happen.

04

End of semester

Every student gets a Scoreo report card: grade by class, GPA, on-time rate, integrity record and sessions signed.
